A Big Day

Today was such a big day for Jax! We rode TRAX. Jax woke up this morning bouncing off the walls like it was Christmas. We met Heath, Bridge and Jenn at the Sandy Station, then rode TRAX to The Gateway. The kids loved the fountains. Well, actually, Huds and Jax loved the fountains and Bridge loved running down the ramp flying like an airplane. We all decided we wanted a little Taco Time for lunch then when all was said and done, we had a little Panda Express, Hot Dog On A Stick, Orange Julius and Sabarro Pizza. YUM! Oh, I can't forget to mention the strange encounters with the "company" we had while waiting for TRAX and while riding TRAX. The only thing I have to say about it all is WOW. We sure are sheltered and I am thankful for that!

24th of July Camping

Aunt Heath saying "cheese"

Huds eating a little bit of everything

Bridge showing me that he is having a blast :o)

Does Jaxon have anything in his teeth?

Jaxon looking pretty darn clean

Bridge & Jax having a great time camping

Dad and Mom showing us their "in love" pose

Huds having so much fun in the trailer

We had a great time camping in Big Cottonwood Canyon at the Redman Campground. It was really close to mom and dads but yet seemed so far away being in the mountains. Jaxon and Bridger played so hard and seemed to never stop the entire time we were there. Huds was just excited that he was able to get in the dirt. If the little guy wouldn't eat everything it would be a little more fun for me. (hee, hee) Jaxon was super cute thinking that only every time we were in the trailer we were "camping". Unfortunately, we didn't ever see the Draper's there, maybe next year. Here are a few shots from the fun event.

10 Things I Love About Ryan

Ryan and Jaxon 10.19.05

Since I forgot to take the camera to Rangely....... We had a good time hanging out with Ryan and celebrating his birthday. We went to the lake and went boating and swimming. It was the first time that Ryan tried the wake board. It took him a couple of tries to figure it out but did get up a few times. Jaxon learned he could "swim" in the lake with his life jacket on and he had a blast. We also went to Corbin Lucero's birthday party. His daddy works with Jaxon's daddy and it was a lot of fun. We had steaks for Ryan's birthday dinner on Sunday and his mom made a fire truck cake.

10 things I love about Ryan:
1- His pride and joy is his family
2- He is a morning person and wakes up in a good mood
3- He makes lists for everything
4- He has tons of friends and is nice to everyone
5- He hates going to movies but loves watching them at home with me
6- He loves his mom so much
7- He always wants to help people broken down on the side of the road
8- He has dreams and goals that he will make happen
9- He is super cute and usually smells really good
10- He loves me

Mason's Birthday

We had a fun birthday celebration at the Draper's the other night. It consisted of Happy Meals, cupcakes, ice-cream cake, sand box playing, opening presents, flag football, dragon fly flyin' and RockBand. Who could ask for anything more? Here are a few shots from the party.

Happy Birthday Ryan

Happy Birthday to the greatest man in the world. You are genuine, honest, loving, hard-working, dependable, trustworthy, funny, easy going, and the best dad in the world. It's seems like you are finally catching up to me. BIG 25! I love you more today than yesterday and can't wait to celebrate many, many more birthdays together.

Best Nights Sleep Ever

Well, maybe not. But we're getting there. Thanks so much to Heath and Danen for letting us borrow their toddler bed and crib. Jax, Huds and I are occupying the room down in the basement. It's kinda a tight squeeze but it's amazing to have the kids in their own bed. Last night, Jax told me he wanted to go to bed. We went downstairs, he climbed in the little toddler bed and went to sleep. He slept all night in that little bed which was awesome. Huds is still trying to get used to the crib but is doing a good job. We have been hanging out and tonight we are going to Mason's birthday party. Jaxon is super excited and can't wait for his own birthday. Ryan is loving it out at his parents house. He thinks its amazing to say good night and have it so quite. We'll be heading to Rangely this weekend to celebrate Ryan's birthday. It should be pretty fun.

Home Sweet Home

Well, I can't help but have bitter sweet feelings as we packed up our Syracuse home today. I am officially SICK of moving. We are making Grandma and Grandpa's home for a while but then I hope Rangely will be home. Ryan and I have moved six times in the five years we've known each other, not fun. Ryan and Wes managed to fit everything into the trucks and trailer but Ryan is a little hesitant about fitting it all into the storage units. I am extremely thankful for this little "bump" in the road and hope the future holds great things. Hopefully, we don't wear out our welcome too soon at Grandma and Grandpa's. Jaxon can be quite a handful!

4th of July

We had a wonderful 4th of July in Rangely this year. The weekend consisted of camping, hiking, boating, birthday celebrating and just plain hangin' out. We camped at "the lake" Friday night and watched the firework celebration from our tent. Jaxon was amazed and fairly prep'd for the fireworks considering he kept letting us know "the fireworks are going to go booooommm" every couple of minutes through out the day. Hudson hung out and had a blast camping. He loves getting dirty and eating everything. We hung out with Rambo and I can't believe I am saying this, but I actually like him. He is a really good dog and really cute. We drove home from Rangely on Monday with a stop in Roosevelt so I could pick out all the colors of our new house. It was kinda fun but kinda hard too. Then the weekend ended with a pit-stop at Grandma's to get our dose of normality. The week has been kinda rough already. Huds went to the doctor this morning with what I thought was an ear infection but only has that crappy hand, foot, mouth disease but only on his feet this time. Poor little guy has cried and had a fever for 3 days now. We also got news today that we are closing on our house in Syracuse on July 18th. A little sooner than expected but oh well. I am thankful this chapter of our life is about to close. Let the good times roll.
P.S. Jax and Bridge are showing me how big they are in the picture of them. If you look close Jax is on his tip toes and is still shorter than Bridge. We knew the day would come when Bridge would be taller than Jax. Too bad it came so soon! :)

Off To Rangely

We are heading to Rangely today for the 4th of July. We'll be boating, camping, hanging out, celebrating Damen and Jamie's birthdays and watching fireworks over the lake. We are sad that we won't be making it to the Denny Family Campout but I'm sure the fun will go on without us. I'll post pictures when we get home next week.
