December 2021

December was a great month full of memory making and family time. I thought it would be a good idea to try to take family pictures and they turned out not so good. Jax got his official drivers license on my birthday. I love to buy my own birthday cakes with whipped frosting. It was an amazing Christmas and Grandma Draper crotched around 40 blankets for everyone this year. Holy Cow!

October 2021

October is probably a month that Jax would like to forget. In September, while playing football he got injured. It ended up being a lateral meniscus tear and his ACL. This was devastating to all of us, especially Jaxon. The pictures of Jax when he was little hiking with Grandpa and Jessie were sent from Aunt Em. She sent those pictures to me to help remind Jax that he is one tough kid. Emily said this hike was so hard and Jax just kept going and going and never stopped. She said he didn't even realize how hard it was because he was so determined to just be there with the big kids. When all was said and done, Jax's surgery went smoothly which was on the morning of his 16th birthday. It was the only day available since his surgeon was going to be out of the states with the USA Olympic ski team. Besides, that, just the usual Halloween festivities, some crazy hair day and some fun cousin time.
