4th of July

This year for the 4th we decided to head out past Meeker to stay in a cabin with Wes & Whitney. I totally didn't do very good at picture taking and didn't even get a picture of the cabin! It was a very fun weekend with lots of relaxing, fishing and hanging out. Jaxon and Hudson loved the cabin and thought is was so fun to "camp" the entire weekend. I kinda forgot how much fun it was to go places with a 2 1/2 month old, NOT! Easton required tons of holding and loving - good thing Ryan had the other two boys. I am sure that Wes, Whitney, Tessa, Easton and I were at the cabin but there are no pictures to show that....maybe next time. We are pretty lucky. It seems wherever we go a beautiful rainbow follows. There is just something so peaceful about rainbows. The last picture is an accident Ryan was called to the other day. Can you believe the man made it out of this semi alive?

This & That

d

The boys have been sick with a cold but we needed to get out of the house. We had so much fun fishing at the ponds and having a little picnic. Huds didn't want to hold the worms, East just hung out and slept and Jax caught his first fish. A little traumatic when Ryan couldn't get the hook out of it and it died. Good thing the pond is stocked with lots of baby trout! We also went yard saleing on Saturday morning, slim pickins' here in Rangely. We did manage to find an outfit for the boys and they wanted to wear their outfits with their cars/mikey socks and their church shoes. They wore that outfit all day! Our neighbor also took Jax on a motorcycle ride. Jaxon loved it and loved even more that he got to wear a "real" helmet. Good times......

A Hard Day

This is what Ryan looked liked when he got home from work last night.
We sure love him and we are thankful for all of his hard work!

Easton Clayton Torsell

Introducing little baby Easton Clayton Torsell. He arrived at 7:34am on April 15, 2009. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 9 oz. and was 191/2 in. long. Easton was so squeaky when he was first born that he sounded like Donald Duck. We came home from the hospital on Saturday, April 18th. Ryan did more than a wonderful job with the boys at home. The house was clean, the laundry was done, the sheets were washed and the grocery shopping was done. What an amazing husband! Grandma has been here since Saturday and what a life saver! She is amazing. The boys love Easton and don't seem to mind that he's around. Easton has been pretty good adjusting to life and he is a real cutie! We love him to death and we are excited he is part of our family!

Easter Egg Hunt

This morning was Rangely's annual Easter Egg Hut at Elk's Park. It was raining and freezing but so much fun. Hudson didn't want anything to do with the Easter Bunny but Jaxon thought it was pretty cool. Rangely colors real boiled eggs, 3600 of them to be exact, and that's what the kids hunt for. Few and far between they have prize eggs. Jaxon got two prize eggs and his prizes ended up being 2 chocolate bunnies. Perfect, one for him and one for Huds. Hudson had a blast gathering eggs and even though we were all soaking wet it was tons of fun! It is so much fun living in a small town. Even though the entire Town of Rangely was at the park it still wasn't very crowded. That's nice! Tomorrow we are going to Cisco and Jeanie's baptism at the Baptist Church. We are very excited for them. They are great friends and even greater people. We especially can't wait for the BBQ at the church after the service. Hopefully, it won't rain on us!

Dog House, Garden & More

Saturday was full of lots of work. Ryan built Rambo a dog house, of course the boys helped. I will post completed pictures of it as soon as Ryan gets it all the way painted. Yes, one side of the roof is longer than the other but don't worry, it was done on purpose. That is so Rambo can have shade in the summer. It was kinds chilly outside so the boys had a little hot chocolate to keep them warm. Then after the dog house was built, we worked on the garden. We planted peas and carrots for now and will plant the rest of the stuff in May. The boys just love being outside and I love spending Saturday's outside together as a family working hard on the land :o). Saturday night Cisco, Jeanie, CJ, Corbin and Branson stopped by to drop off some tools they had borrowed. That turned into having them over for tacos and nachos then we had a huge bonfire and made s'mores. Kim and Sam (the next door neighbors) came over too. It was so nice cause Huds went to bed so I didn't have to worry about him falling in the fire. We had so much fun and can't wait for summer!
