Visit to Grandma's

We had lots of fun visiting Aunt Cole and Laynee Lou at Grandma's house. It was so fun to get to know Laynee a little more and just hang out with everyone. Father's Day was quite exciting with The Draper's, The Bateman's, The Biblers and The Josh Draper's. Lots of food, lots of noise and lots of good times.

Aunt Jenn

We had a great time with Aunt Jenn this past weekend. We went to Walmart, had the boys pictures taken, watched movies, went out to eat and just hung out. The boys love her so much and miss her bad. It was so nice to have extra help for me too. Jenn went home exhausted on Sunday and ready to get back home so she could have a nap!

The Week

The past week has been amazing with my mom here. My mom saves my life! It was a rough couple of days home from the hospital because I was pretty sore but I am feeling really good now and adjusting to 3 kids. My mom came last Saturday and stayed until Thursday. Then went home and came back on Friday with my dad and Jenn until Saturday. Even though my mom stayed for a while it still wasn't long enough and I cried when she left. There is just something about everything being okay when your mom is around. The boys had a blast. Huds loved every second with Grandma and I'm pretty sure they read every single book we have a 1000 times. Jax also loved every second with Grandma. Jax thinks he can fly pretty fast with the cape and can't wait for the bugs to arrive in the mail. Both of the boys were soooo excited to see Grandpa and Aunt Jenn and were perma-grins the entire visit. Jax and Huds loved the new clothes and socks from Jenn and Jaxon loved doing "crafts" with Aunt Jenn. The pictures are hanging in his room and both Jax and Huds think they are pretty cool. Dad, Ryan and Jax enjoyed a nice game of golf and 4-wheeling. The girls (mom, me and jenn) and the kids enjoyed doing nothing because that's what happens when your a mom. We did attempt to go to Betty's but after sitting at the table for a few minutes we decided that wasn't a good idea and went to the grocery store for breakfast instead. Easton is a sweetheart and I am loving every minute of him being little (and not being able to talk) and just snuggling him and feeling so thankful that he is part of our family. The boys seem to really love him and Jaxon walks by and loves on him every chance he can. All in all, it's been a great week and it was a great needed visit from family!

The Weekend

We went home for the weekend for Mom's birthday. It started with lunch at the Olive Garden on Friday afternoon. That was pretty fun, especially the part when Jenn got a take-home cup stuffed full of yummy Olive Garden mints for "being single". Then on Saturday we did a little bowling. It was lots of fun and Jaxon thought the special bowling shoes helped him jumped high. I think that was his favorite part. Jaxon also loved setting up the train and Grandma's doughnut cake and Huds just loved being at Grandma's. It was a nice weekend visiting.

Happy Halloween

We made it through Halloween. Thanks to my parents it's definitely not one of my favorite holidays. My dad complained the entire day about how much he doesn't like Halloween and my mom just enjoyed the day. The day started off with Jaxon and Grandma going to Grandma's school for the Halloween parade. Jaxon came home telling me that Frankenstein was a very nice man! Jaxon wore his fireman costume tons and he loved it. We went to the Draper's for a little trick-or treating then to the Bateman's to hang out there. It was quite an eventful night and the kids loved all the candy!
