Lagoon

We had a blast at Lagoon on Saturday. It was way expensive (almost $100 for Ryan, Jaxon and me) but Jaxon definitely got his moneys worth. It was so much fun to watch him. It sometimes looked like he didn't know whether to laugh or cry. He loved the bumper cars. Huds was a trooper and loved it just as much. Every time he heard the rides make sounds and people scream, he would scream too. Ryan's favorite part were the games. He was so pumped that he threw a ball 67 miles/hr. He won lots of fun things for the boys. It was great family time and lots of fun.

Huds

The doctor called with excellent news yesterday. He said that Huds' kidney has very mild dilation and he thinks Huds will be just fine. We don't have to make any other appointments but will do another ultra-sound in one year. We are so thankful that everything went well. We love our little guys!

Movie Time!

From the eyes of Jennica:

On Thursday Hudsie had to go to the hospital for some tests and stuff on his kidney, so guess who got to babysit Jaxon? Me! Aunt Jennie! When I picked Jax up I asked him if he wanted to go on a date with me, of course he said yes! So we went to Kung Fu Panda. We got popcorn, Sprite, and gummy bears. (No wonder he liked it so much!) We didn't quite make it through the whole movie, but he did really good for his first time! (In fact, it was my idea to go home!)

Hudsey....

Our little Huds did so good yesterday at Primary Children's Medical Center getting tests done to check his kidney. Huds still has a mild dilation of his left kidney so our next step will be meeting with a Urologists to let us know what to do from here. Huds is such a good little trooper.

New Clothes

We were so lucky to make off with a haul from the money Aunt Kalyn gave the boys for clothes. They each got one 3-piece set outfit, 2 pair of pj's and a pair of crocks. Here are a few shots of the boys modeling their new pj's. Thanks Aunt Kalyn!

The Fountains

We had a blast today! First, we met Aunt Kalyn and the Ostler kids at Gateway for an adventure in the fountains. The kids loved the water and every 1/2 hour the fountains were choreographed to music for an extra boost of excitement. Then, we headed back to Aunt Kalyn's house for a BBQ with her friend Susan, Susan's daughters Sophie and Samone and Jake. The food was amazing and nothing beats a Ball Park (all beef frank) grilled to perfection. The company was great, the food was great, and all in all we had a great time.

War-mart

This is how it went down this morning. I had given Jaxon a stuffed animal out of the closet that he had never seen before. He looked at the stuffed animal, grabbed the tag like he was checking it out at the check stand and said, "This is a hundred bucks from War-mart". WOW, do you think his mom shops at Wal-mart all the time?

My Full Heart......

My heart is so full and words will never be enough to express how thankful I am for the thought and the time that went in to gathering pictures for our family. As I look through the photos and the cd's I can't help but have tears running down my cheeks to think that you (Ang and everyone else that helped) care so much about me to do something so meaningful and special for me. I have felt such comfort over the last few months knowing that I have such a great family and such a great support team behind me. I will be forever grateful for the pictures that I can now turn into books of memories for our family. Thank you!

Sunday's At Grandma's

Looking back and being grown-up now, I never realized how important Sunday's at Grandma's house were and the many special memories I hold dear to my heart from visiting each week. I want our boys to remember how specials Sunday's are at their Grandma's house too. Here are a few pictures from today. Also, this is for Kenz. It's totally okay to have toes that are uneven. It makes you who you are!

Friturday......

Jaxon had such a great time camping that he can't stop talking about it. The other day he told me, "Mom, I think we need to go camping again on Friturday". I thought about it for a second (Friday and Saturday make Friturday) and I told him that sounds like a great idea. :0) Cutie!

Stuff Goin' On

We have been in Rangely the last few days. We went camping to Dinosaur National Monument on Saturday. It was beautiful and the boys had tons of fun. I'll post pictures when we get home. We also had a nice Father's Day dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Torsell's house on Sunday. Sure wish I could have seen my dad on Sunday too, oh well. We are getting eatin' alive by mosquitoes here in Rangely. They bite from morning to night. It's crazy! We'll be heading back to Syracuse in a few days to take care of things there.

Hangin' Out

I thought it would be much easier to leave for Rangely from mom's house (it's like an hour quicker and that hour makes all the difference in the world) so the boys and I are sleeping at grandma's tonight. We spent the day with Grandma, Bridge and Jenn. It sure is fun just hanging out. Jaxon wanted grandma to make strawberry milkshakes so bad (since she's made them once before and forgets nothing) but instead they just picked strawberries from the garden. Huds has mastered crawling and is all over the place. It's really cute when he starts crawling towards stairs, I say "no, no, Huds" and he books it as fast as he can right to the edge. Then he just stops and starts yelling at the stairs. He hasn't gone over the edge yet. All in all, it's been a pretty good day.

Funny Story

This was too funny and I want to be able to remember little things like this. I was standing on Jaxon's little drum set stool to reach the medicine cabinet in the kitchen. The story goes a little like this:

J: You standing on my stool mom?
B: Ya, so I can reach, is that okay?
BOOM, BOOM, SHATTER (I broke the stool into 3 pieces)
J: Mom, you broke it
B: I know I did, I am so sorry
J: Ya, but I'm still sad about it

It was really cute.
(Note to self, tiny drum set stools are not for fat moms!)

Huds Hanging Out at Grandmas

We have had such a great time the past couple of weeks. First, hanging out with the Kynaston's, swimming with the big "bucket", and just playing at Grandma's. Then, a fun visit with Aunt Cole and Laynee Lou. It's been so nice to have everyone at Grandma's, even if it's only for a few days.

Ryan, being the greatest husband that he is, set up my camera on this computer and I am so excited to have more pictures of the family. So, the first picture is Jaxon getting into my make-up, and then Huds hanging out and just more cute pictures of the boys and stuff. You gotta love the helmets Jax and Damen are wearing to play football. Life is crazy but so fun and never a dull moment with the boys! They are our life!

Jaxon Gets On The Bus

This week in Rangely, Jaxon has been going to Bible School with Alanna and Damen. Grandma Torsell has been teaching a class there and the kids do fun activities, read bible stories and have snacks. The bus comes by Jamie's house to pick up the kids. Jaxon was a little hesitant to get on the bus but as soon as he was, he peeked his little head out the window and waved bye. Kinda sad for me but he loved it!

What's Been Happenin'

Ryan, Jaxon and Hudson 8.29.07

I am slowly getting over the fact that Jax fried our computer and all of our pictures and memories since 2005 are gone.....with that being said, this is just another good reason to start this blog simply to have a journal of our family and the things going on in life. We have been "living" out of our suitcases traveling back and forth from Salt Lake to Rangely since February. Not so fun but it is fun being together as a family. We just purchased some acreage outside of town and will have a home out there soon. I am extremely thankful that The Draper Blog is around so I have a few pictures to post on our blog.

Here We Are.....

My first post. Yay!
