For Posterity.... I Guess

I hate pictures of me but I thought it would be fun to look back and see me pregnant. Here are a few pictures Jaxon took of me. He did pretty good, in fact some of our very best pictures have been taken by Jaxon. We went to MOPS today. I am kinda sad because this was the last one until fall. It's been so fun to get together with other moms, be spiritually uplifted and just relax while the kids go to play group. Other than that, just been hanging out and getting ready for this baby. Oh ya, I finally pin pointed why I am so freaked out to have this baby. First, the pregnancy has gone by way to fast and second my family isn't here. I have always been able to rely on my mom, sisters, aunts etc... to visit me in the hospital and to be with me at any given time after the baby is born. It's going to be a lot different this go round plus it's going to be different having to visit everyone instead of just hanging out all the time......thank heaven for the friends I have made here. Not nearly the same but still okay.

Dog House, Garden & More

Saturday was full of lots of work. Ryan built Rambo a dog house, of course the boys helped. I will post completed pictures of it as soon as Ryan gets it all the way painted. Yes, one side of the roof is longer than the other but don't worry, it was done on purpose. That is so Rambo can have shade in the summer. It was kinds chilly outside so the boys had a little hot chocolate to keep them warm. Then after the dog house was built, we worked on the garden. We planted peas and carrots for now and will plant the rest of the stuff in May. The boys just love being outside and I love spending Saturday's outside together as a family working hard on the land :o). Saturday night Cisco, Jeanie, CJ, Corbin and Branson stopped by to drop off some tools they had borrowed. That turned into having them over for tacos and nachos then we had a huge bonfire and made s'mores. Kim and Sam (the next door neighbors) came over too. It was so nice cause Huds went to bed so I didn't have to worry about him falling in the fire. We had so much fun and can't wait for summer!

More fun of a post!

So I am using number one, in the boys bathroom, and I had just looked at the clock. It says that the time is 4:20, I look up at the clock while I'm doing my duty, and the clock says 3:20. Even the little things slip by a wife that is worried about making every thing perfect.

Funny Story

Jaxon and Hudson were playing in the living room and Jaxon was hanging off the coffee table. Ryan told Jaxon to be careful.....

R: Jax, be careful or Huds is going to push you off the table and it's going to hurt
J: Na, no Dad see I got my kick stand on (Jaxon put one leg down on the ground)

It was pretty funny.

Spring or Winter

The weather has been so beautiful until a couple of days ago. Where did Spring go? We woke up this morning to snow covered grounds and freezing temps. Of course, we needed milk and stuff from the store. That was a huge mistake. It was freezing and snowing. I always do that! I always think it won't be too bad. The boys froze. I went to the doctor yesterday. The baby is doing good. I am measuring big, of course, but nothing new since that's what I've done with the other ones. The c-section is scheduled for the 15th, so we'll just hang tight for now. I have only gained 6.5 lbs this pregnancy. The doctor asked me if that was normal for me and my pregnancies. Not really. He said no worries because the baby is growing just fine. Jaxon and Hudson are doing good and the two of them play so cute together. Hudson tries to do everything Jaxon does. Hudson has started to talk and it's really cute. Ryan is also doing really good.....just trying to get everything all done to start school on-line at University of Phoenix. He only needs 18 credits to complete his degree. I know he will do it. He never leaves things unfinished. He is an excellent example of sticking to it and following through. He never quits. Jeanie and I are going to Vernal tomorrow to get pedicures. I can't wait. Grandma Torsell is going to watch the boys. Hopefully, that goes okay. This will probably be the last "alone" time for me before the baby.

Wrestling and Falling

The weather has been beautiful and we have been spending as much time outside as possible before the baby gets here and we're all cooped up. We've gone on lots of walks to the horses. We have played at Elk's Park several times, and we have worked on the land. This weekend, if it doesn't rain, we are going to start working on the garden. Jaxon and I are so excited to grow a garden this year. Ryan found some of his old wrestling gear and Jaxon has had a blast with it. I think wrestling is so weird. Huds' has been trying to keep up with Jaxon. It's so rocky and bumpy outside, he just keeps falling. His head looks a little sore but he acts like nothing is even there. Today we are going to Betty's Cafe for lunch with Jeanie and Corbin. Then we are going to head to the park to play. Life is good in Rangely.

Our visitors - Heath and Bridge

We were so excited to have Heath and Bridge come for a little visit. Heath pulled up our driveway and looked at me and said "Where do you live?". She was a little surprised that I would live somewhere like Rangely let alone somewhere in the middle of nowhere. Heath loved Rangely and kept saying that she thought it would have been her living somewhere like this. I do have to admit that Rangely is really starting to grow on me. I really like it. It's small. It's not crowded. It's peaceful. It's slow paced. The only thing I miss is my family. We took Heath and Bridge on a tour of Rangely. It took all of about 5 minutes. Then we headed to the new restaurant in town. Betty's Cafe. We pulled up to Betty's and we were told by the manager that they were closed because they had run out of food. Betty's has only been open for a week and I don't think they expected so many people. Heath and I laughed for a minute then we headed to Giovanni's. It was amazing food and between Heath and I and the kids it seemed like we had one of everything on the menu by the time we were done. We just hung out and the kids played so hard and had so much fun. I am so glad Heath and Bridge were able to make it to Rangely before their new little baby. It was lots of fun.
