Big Boy

Hudson slept in his "big boy" bed all night last night for the first time and loved it!
We are starting to prep him for going potty when he turns 2.
We'll see how that goes.....

Caterpillars to Butterflies

So we have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of our butterflies from the little caterpillars we received in the mail a few weeks ago. The process has been very cool. Tiny caterpillars, to hanging cocoons, to butterflies. The boys have loved watching the change and it really has been quite amazing. Today Jaxon and Hudson played with Alanna and Damen before they leave for the summer to spend time with their dad. They had a blast. Jaxon ended up in a wife beater and shorts with no undies. I'm not sure what happened but his clothes were covered in mud and water. Oh wait, I know exactly how that happened.... He's a little boy! Bible School starts next week and Jaxon can't wait. It should be pretty fun. Jenn will be here tomorrow and we can't wait! We are going to get the boys pictures taken and whatever else I can get done with her help. :o) I went to the doctor today for the big six week check-up. Lets just say I came home with a 3 year birth control instead of 5.....good times!

Monster Hat

Jaxon wearing a Monster box hat made by his one and only dad!
Love them both to death!

JUCO

This time of year brings the annual trip to Junction for the Junior College World Series. Ryan has been going to JUCO since 1992 and that tradition is not about to stop. We headed out early Saturday morning so Ryan and Jax could catch the first game. I dropped them off at the stadium and then I took the two younger boys and went shopping. It was not very fun. Huds is crazy and not too good of a listener and Easton did pretty good until he was hungry. After a while I picked up Ryan and Jax and we headed to Kim and Lawrence's for a bbq. We tried to check into the first hotel we booked but decided to cancel it when we pulled up to it and were a little scared. We called around and found a much safer and nicer hotel and stayed there for the night. We all had a great time and can't wait to do it again next year. The only problem......we didn't take any pictures. The picture we did manage take is the car ride home after all the excitement.

This & That

d

The boys have been sick with a cold but we needed to get out of the house. We had so much fun fishing at the ponds and having a little picnic. Huds didn't want to hold the worms, East just hung out and slept and Jax caught his first fish. A little traumatic when Ryan couldn't get the hook out of it and it died. Good thing the pond is stocked with lots of baby trout! We also went yard saleing on Saturday morning, slim pickins' here in Rangely. We did manage to find an outfit for the boys and they wanted to wear their outfits with their cars/mikey socks and their church shoes. They wore that outfit all day! Our neighbor also took Jax on a motorcycle ride. Jaxon loved it and loved even more that he got to wear a "real" helmet. Good times......

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was lots of fun, we spent it in South Jordan with Grandma, Grandpa, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. We headed to South Jordan on Friday with Jenn. It was so nice having help on the way there. We hung out with Heath and Bridge and we even attempted to go to dinner on Friday night. I am sure we didn't even taste any of the food because we ate so fast since the only thing we could think about was having to feed the babies. The boys had so much fun and Huds was perma-grin the entire visit. Easton was spoiled by everyone holding him and Jax was Dad's shadow. Jaxon loved helping Dad and I'm not sure who was more tired at the end of the day, Dad or Jax? Mother's Day was lots of fun with a bbq at Mom's. It was fun to see everyone and hang out. Dinner was amazing and dessert was such a hit that we are having it tonight at our Biggest Loser party! Strawberry shortcake on Twinkies, can you beat that?
