Thanksgiving

This year we spent Thanksgiving with Dad, Mom, Jenn and Robert. It was very quite and very small. We usually have more people at Mom's for Sunday dinner. The day started off with a little chocolate pudding for Huds and Jax. Jax played with the puppy all day. Huds just played and the rest of us just ate and stuff. It was so nice to have Ryan here for the weekend. Ryan and I attempted a little Black Friday shopping. That was the dumbest thing we've ever done. We looked at each other and said, "This is our first time ever shopping on Black Friday and the last time!" We had a little birthday party for Darren and I last night. It was lots of fun. I loved my presents from Mom and Dad. Salt and pepper grinders and black end tables. I can't wait to decorate our new home. We sure missed everyone that couldn't make it and I realize I need to treasure these times we've had because pretty soon we won't be living so close. Ryan must have worn out the boys. They both took an almost 4 hour nap today. Let's not fool anyone here, I slept that long too!

Just Stuff

Last weekend I went to Rangely by myself and saw our house for the first time. I have to admit, I cried to Ryan because it finally feels real. For the past 9 months I've known we were going to move to Rangely but it just hasn't sunk in. I was being extremely ungrateful for everything I've been blessed with. The boys and I went to Rangely again this weekend, and I had a completely different attitude. I LOVE MY HOUSE. The pictures sure don't do it justice. There is nothing more peaceful and amazing than having a mountain in our back yard. We have so much land for our family to learn and grow on, it's going to be so fun. There are horses almost in our front yard. It's a different kind of beautiful than Utah but it's still beautiful. I am very blessed and very thankful for this new adventure in my life and I can't wait to be together as a family (and to decorate my new house)!

Zoo and Stuff

We went to the zoo yesterday with Ang, Cam, Sade, Heath and Bridge. It was a beautiful day and we were practically the only people there. Jax's favorite things were the snakes and the tigers (there weren't any tigers but he thinks he saw some). Huds loved hanging out in the stroller and looking at all the animals. He might have been a little scared when Jenn chased the chicken with the stroller. We got home and Huds started throwing up. YUCK! I am so sick of the flu. He is feeling better and Jax is now throwing up. Jax went to the dentist today (before he got sick) and he did great! The dentist and the assistant could not believe what a good patient he was. He likes the dentist. Weird, kinda like his mom. Anyway, lets hope nobody else gets sick!

Our House and Huds

I thought this picture of Huds was so cute. My mom took it the other night when Huds had a little spaghetti for dinner. He didn't even notice that huge chunk on his nose. My favorite is the chocolate chip on his tooth from his cookie. Pretty cute. Here are a few pictures of the house coming along. Minus a few changes on the outside that the house company has to fix everything else looks pretty nice. I just keep thinking we have sooooo much work to do on all the land. Good thing the boys love playing in dirt! The tractor picture was taken for Bridger and Jaxon.

Jaxon Painting

Jaxon was painting this morning and having a grand old time. A few minutes later I hear, "Mom, this tickles on my face. This feels good." I look over at Jaxon and he's tickling his face with the paint brush. Good thing there wasn't a whole lot of paint on the brush!

Hudsey Walking and Jaxon Singing

Here are a few videos of what's been going on around here. Huds has finally started to walk and is getting better every day. Jax loves hanging out and loves watching Incredibles, Toy Story and Meet the Robinson's. I went to the doctor yesterday and the baby is growing and doing good. Our house finally arrived in Rangely. Just a few more weeks and we will all be together......

Never mind. I can't get the videos to load. Dang. They were so cute!

Happy Halloween

We made it through Halloween. Thanks to my parents it's definitely not one of my favorite holidays. My dad complained the entire day about how much he doesn't like Halloween and my mom just enjoyed the day. The day started off with Jaxon and Grandma going to Grandma's school for the Halloween parade. Jaxon came home telling me that Frankenstein was a very nice man! Jaxon wore his fireman costume tons and he loved it. We went to the Draper's for a little trick-or treating then to the Bateman's to hang out there. It was quite an eventful night and the kids loved all the candy!
