Sunday Morning

Beautiful Sunday morning here in Rangely and the boys looked so darn cute!! Church was pretty good today. I learned that the church was built in 1949 and so was the changing table in the Mother's Room. WOW! That thing was old. Huds was scared to death laying on it. I also learned that all the ladies in Relief Society were born before 1949. I am by far the youngest lady in Relief Society. I also learned that in Rangely (and every where else) you need to be nice to everyone because you never know when you are going to meet them again. I had taken Huds to the ear specialist, our appointment was at 11:45am and we were seen at 1:30pm. I was kinda rude to the front desk lady and guess what? She is the 1st counselor in the Relief Society and a very sweet lady. I apologized for being such a mood bucket to her. So, all in all I learned a ton today!

Watermelon in Winter

Huds had watermelon last night and this is how I found him. He was loving every minute of it. Huds has turned into quite the trouble maker. He loves to climb up on the couch and stick his hands and everything else into the fish tank. I walked into the dining room the other day and Huds was standing up on the kitchen table dancing and laughing. The worst part about it is he laughs every time he gets in trouble. He goes in time out. He laughs. He gets a spanking. He laughs. I move him away from the situation. He laughs. HELP ME! He gives Jaxon a run for his money. Anyway, after the watermelon the boys got a bath and you can't beat that. Jax got a little tea set that he is completely obsessed with from the grocery store the other day. He thinks it's pretty fun to play with and wants everyone to have a tea party with him. Heath and I joked about it all and she said, "Jax can play tea party and Bridge can play with his doll." Little boys. Love 'em to death!

A Fun Day

We had a nice day with Grandpa and Grandma. They came to visit and to see our new house. Grandpa brought his 4-wheeler and a sleigh. Jaxon has never been sleigh riding and he thought it was pretty cool. Huds had a blast being outside and he really liked sleigh riding too. We hung out, ate lunch, did a little sleigh riding and then I gave mom a tour of Rangely. It took about 2 minutes. :o) Jaxon and Hudson were so excited to see Grandpa and Grandma. They loved every minute of it and we can't wait to do it again!

Christmas and Stuff

Santa found the Torsell house and good thing since we had just moved 2 days before! The boys were extremely excited and very cute. Jaxon said, "Mom, I must have been a really good boy because Santa brought me everything!" It has been pretty funny though because he has mentioned a few times that Grandpa can't play with his train because he might break it. Hum, wonder where he's heard that. We had a very nice visit with family and had a great time hanging out (minus the croup and ear infections, at least no throwing up). We are getting all settled into our new home and life and the boys seem very happy. It is so nice to be together as a family again and we look forward to Ryan coming home from work each night. I can't stand our dog and for now he lives in the utility room. I have a Lysol Nutra-Air thing that sprays a mist of freshener every 9 minutes and he still smells so bad. He will be outside soon and I can't wait. We have had friends over for dinner already and it was lots of fun. The boys and I went to MOPS today and that was a blast. Jaxon keeps saying, "I had so much fun at play group" and Huds cried almost the whole time in his play group. That's unusual, huh? Anyway, it's good to be back into life with the internet....

My kind of cowboy

Jaxon has been watching "The Own Ranger" with grandpa and loving every second of it. This is what we saw the other night while he was playing with his guns. Gotta love the gun sticking out the bottom of his undies. I also thought these pictures of the kids with Jenn were cute too.

My Birthday

My birthday was very nice this year. The morning started out at 5:00am with Huds waking up. I thought to myself, "ya know, today I am going to focus on other people instead of me." So I went to McDonald's and got breakfast for Mom and Jenn. Okay, there is something about McDonald's breakfast that is so amazing when you are pregnant. Of course, I had McDonald's for breakfast too. :o) Then I swept and mopped and cleaned and vacuumed and by then it was 7:30am. Hee Hee. Heath always makes fun of me because I do more by 7:00am then most people. Heath and Josh took me to lunch. I chose the Training Table. It was amazing and lots of fun. That's kinda a fun tradition we've started. I did a few more errands throughout the day and when it got dark, we all loaded up in my car and drove around looking at Christmas lights. To top it all off, we stopped at Arctic Circle and dad bought brown toppers for everyone. It was a wonderful day. I also received several nice phone calls and a couple of really nice cards in the mail. Let's not forget, the Saturday before my birthday, Ryan watched the boys and Jenn and I got a pedicure. That was awesome! But, my toes are still ugly, even with a pedicure!
