Harper's Corner

We took an amazing hike on Saturday to Harper's Corner. It was perfect for the boys and between Ryan and I, we carried Brynn. When we made it to the top of the hike the view was incredible! It was a great way to spend a beautiful fall afternoon. By the way, cicadas shed out of their skin and we saw their empty shell things every where. It was sick!

Dining Room & Living Room & Family Room

I just finished painting a few rooms in the house and I must say I am so sore. I have been working out like crazy since June but apparently I have not worked any of those muscles I used while painting! Here are the finished products.

Hudson's #6 Birthday

Our Hudsey is 6! He's such a cute boy. Hudson loves to keep everything. He loves his blankets and has seven on his bed that follow him around the house all day and night. Hudson wanted a Diamond Ore cake from Minecraft. My first attempt was a huge failure but Huds was so sweet. He looked at the mess of a cake and said "Mom, that kinda looks like a Diamond Ore". (now sing to the underdog theme song) Da, Da, Da, Da, Never Fear, Grandma was here! Mom totally saved the day. I bought a cake from the store and according to Huds, Grandma made the BEST Diamond Ore cake ever!

Broncos Game

We had an absolute blast watching the Broncos play Saturday night in Denver for Hudson's birthday. Jax, Huds and Brynn all wanted their faces painted. It sprinkled a little bit throughout the game and towards the end decided to rain. Ryan and the boys loved watching the last little bit of the game in the rain. The Broncos won and we all had fun!

Fun Visit

We had a great visit with Heather, Bridger, Blake, Brooke, Lilee, Gracee and Mom (Grandma). I had no idea we had so many fun things to do in such a small town. :-) We went to the Rangely Museum. It was such a neat little place full of fun facts about Rangely. We went to Elk's Park. We went swimming at the Rec Center and had a blast there. And of course, there was lots of hanging out. Heath made amazing homemade raspberry ice cream which seemed to take forever (like I remember as a little girl, but it really only took like two hours) and it was so worth it!
