Easton

Easton is at a super cute stage and talking all the time. This is one of my favorites right now.
Mom: E, how old is Huds?
E: He's four
Mom: E, how old is Jax?
E: He's five
Mom: How old are you?
E: I two
Mom: E, how old is dad?
E: He's twenty-eight
Mom: E, how old is mom?
E: Ummm, too old!

Cinco

I'm still laughing. I took Cinco to the vet on Tuesday to get fixed and declawed. I told them I wasn't quite sure if it was a boy or a girl. Our little Cinco is in fact a boy. I think its so funny that for the past six months he has been a she. Before the vet I bought him a brand new pink collar! He is still wearing it and looks beautiful.

Septemberfest

Septemberfest was tons of fun again this year. We spent lots of time together as a family and the weather was perfect. Fall is in the air and it's amazing. We started off the celebration with the annual tradition of the rodeo. We love it! The boys had so much fun in the dirt and with all the cowboys and bulls. Then we spent the day with Ry and all his friends at the 2nd Annual Rangely Olympics. Jax got to go golfing with Ryan and his friends then we all headed to the Camper Park for the rest of the day to play games. The final day started out with a pancake breakfast at Fire Hall, the awesome parade and the day at the park. I love that Rangely does this every year!

Baby Girl

I can't believe I haven't written anything on our blog about our baby girl. Ryan and I tried for a long time to get pregnant with this baby. I went to the doctor to make sure everything was ok and to talk about what to do next. The doctor told me since I was getting older it might take a little longer to get pregnant. Two days later I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. Ry and I have a "lucky" quarter that we've used for several different things. We flipped the quarter to see if we were having a boy or a girl and it kept telling us girl.  :-) Of course I was skeptical since we already had three boys. I was sick for a long time with this pregnancy. I usually feel good around 14 weeks or so and this one I still feel sick. Lots of other things are different too. This baby sits a lot different in my belly and she moves way different than the boys did. I had hernia repair surgery last December and my hernia came back even worse finally ripping on July 4th. It's been extremely painful and I can't wait to have it fixed again. The boys are excited for this baby. Jax and Huds totally understand that a little baby sister is coming to our family but East has no idea. Hope he doesn't treat her like the cat. I am really tired and my body definitely tells me that this is our last. Words really can't explain how grateful I am that Ryan "gave in" and we are able to bring another little Torsell into our home. I know everything happens for a reason and I can't wait to meet our baby girl.

Hudson #4

Hudsey has had one heck of a birthmonth! It started about four weeks ago with a new trampoline. Then another birthday party with cousins at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Then a birthday party last night with the Torsell Family. Yesterday he asked me if he was finally 4. Huds learned to ride his bike with no training wheels one day before his fourth birthday. I've never seen a little boy have so much fun. He started riding his bike yesterday at 7:00am in his pj's and rode his bike all day till bed time. Hudsey is such a fun part of our family. One of the funniest things he does right now is call mosquitoes "damn mosquitoes". I'm pretty sure that is what he thinks they are really called. I have no idea where he has heard that but it's pretty funny every time he says it.

Frogs & Flowers

We have a bunch of frogs that hang out in our flower beds. The kids love to catch them. I think they are awesome cause they keep lots of the bugs out of my flowers.
