February

My parents came for a visit and a special Sunday in February when Ryan was able to ordain Jax and Huds for church. My mom (grandma) is amazing! She made pillow cases for each grandchild specifically with them in mind. She found the perfect fabric for each child. A great surprise for the year was when we got a picture from Grandma that had Huds Whaley in it. I had given a bag full of hand-me-downs to Heath for Jaycee. When Jaycee put on Brynn's old coat she found something in the pocket. It was Whaley! He had been missing for a very long time. Huds was so excited Whaley was found that he cried. I got to go to my kids Valentines party at school and Ryan got me some beautiful flowers. I love flowers. They never get old to me. And my kids know how much I love to collect the cute little bears. They got me the cutest one yet. I love it. I decided that after 30 years my parents needed a new paint job in their bedroom. It was one huge project but with the help of Heath and Jenn, we knocked it out in 2 days. I will never forget what happened with the phone line. Jenn and I will never tell! While we were there painting, Brynn lost her very first tooth. It was so dramatic, but she lived. Ryan was away for work in Denver for a conference and it looks like he was working really hard getting a pedicure.

January

During Christmas break we decided to head to Grand Junction for a little fun at Get Air. Hudson's friend Kolter Mann stayed with us for a week and he got to go with Huds. It looks like Jax didn't want to go alone so he took Wyatt Wiley with him. For a little while there, I was obsessed with buying whipped cream icing from Smith's. I LOVE that stuff. It looks like we got lots of snow this winter. The kids are having a blast sleigh riding and making snow angels. Brynn and E must have wanted to warm up in my big bath tub. ;-) One of the big projects of the winter was the giant igloo in the backyard. After it was finished Ry tried to make a fire inside it to keep warm and it didn't work! He ended up smoking everyone out and it was pretty funny. Also, Jax has learned to tie pretty sweet ties for church on Sunday's. And I painted my room. I was so excited because I bought the paint on clearance and painted the entire thing for $7.00.
