Date Night

We had an awesome Memorial Day! We decided to head to South Jordan for a much needed visit. We arrived on Friday. Ryan and I went to Elko, NV where Ry had a football game on Saturday. We left our kids with my parents. I have to say I had so much fun actually watching Ry play instead of watching kids the entire game. Ryan and I stayed the night in Wendover, NV and had such a great date night. Apparently the kids had a blast with my parents. Including bike rides, RC Willey hot dogs, McDonalds picnic in the backyard, Sunday church, and Huds favorite a homemade carved hiking stick with his name engraved. We ended the weekend with a delicious bbq with Brandon & Jenn. Such a fun visit!

Last Days of School

School is almost out! We spent yesterday at school enjoying Jax's Field Day. The kids do so much. Play all sorts of games. Have a million recesses. Walk to the park and play on huge inflatable toys. Walk to the rec center and go swimming. And have tons of fun. Hudson's last day of pre-k is today. He has loved school this year. He's super excited to go to kindergarten next year. Brynn and East are best buds. They were enjoying oreos only eating the inside. And East found this gigantic butterfly hanging out on our front door.

Much Needed Visist

We received a much needed visit from Jenn (Aunt Jennie) this past weekend. I'm not sure the kids needed to see her as much as I did. There is something about hanging out with family that is extremely good therapy and very healthy. Ah, how I miss so much living close to my family. Everything about the visit was fun. Jenn brought us some new "ish, ish" (Brynn's words for fish), some great hanging out time and tons of love for all.

First Camping Trip of the Season

Last night we went on our first camping trip of the summer to "the river" with Jamie and her family. I have to say that we had a pretty great time. The boys fished in the river. Everyone had so much fun skating down the hill. Sleeping in our new camper. Sleeping in tents with no adults. Roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Camping breakfast in the morning and just flat out getting dirty, dirty, dirty! Good times!
