December

Well, we made it through the year having lived the last 9 months in a pandemic. This year has by far been one to remember and history in the making. Jax decided it was time to get his driving learners permit so we did that on my birthday. It's weird how fast time goes by and how big all of the kids are getting. I bought my own birthday cake (marble cake with whipped cream icing) while we were in Craig and it was delicious. I had a great birthday. This year we had to gift a family a quarantine covid-19 gift. We got the D Draper family and I thought our gift to them was pretty creative. Bibler's got us and we've spent many hours together playing with air-dry clay, painting and building catapults. Ry came home with some Blackjack gum and I couldn't help but think of my Grandma O. I used to beg her for a piece of Blackjack gum whenever I knew she had any. Finally, Christmas this year was very nice. We are truly blessed with many, many things especially being together as a family.

November

November wraps up Jax's first high school football season. The boys had a great season and it was fun to watch Jax play and get a little varsity in as a freshman. Brynn had a fabulous birthday which started out with a sleepover (Brynnlee, Makenna, Savannah, Reagan). She really loves Beanie Boos and that's all she wanted for her birthday. She has quite the collection. Ry surprised me on "I love you" day (the day we first said I love you to each other) with an African Violet. I love it. Thanksgiving was different this year as we're still in the middle of a pandemic and so it was just our little family that celebrated it. Jax went with Bailey and celebrated Thanksgiving in Rifle. The million layer Jell-O ;-) was by far the star of the show. Finally, for my birthday the only thing I wanted was to take the kids pictures to get them updated on the wall. They are all so cute. Last, but not least, our Christmas tree this year was HUGE!

October

Jessie and her friend came to visit for a week and it was so fun. I learned how to cook many delicious gluten free foods while Jess was here. Brynn had a sleepover with her friend Reagan and they dressed up as princesses. Huds starts and finishes his gum ball machine in shop. The exact same cut-out and such that Ryan made 25 years before. Jaxon turns 15 years old and for his birthday he plays football. He loved it. Huds was the only one that wanted to dress up for Halloween so he made his own costume (just like every single year ;-).
