Jaxon's Cast & Cinco

Jax got his hard cast put on today. The nurse kept teasing him asking him if he wanted pink. He just laughed and kept saying "no way". He has to keep it on for four weeks. He doesn't seem to mind it. We also picked up a free baby kitty today. REALLY? I'm sure my brain is not functioning correctly seeing it was my idea. Maybe the heat from today or maybe the pregnancy is getting to me. She is pretty cute. And one of the reasons we had to have her is she has five and half toes on each of her front feet. It so unusual. She needed a special home. We named her Cinco. We'll see how long she lasts before I send her to Grandma Torsells. LOL!

JUCO

We spent all day Saturday in Junction for JUCO and to a little fun. We had fun at the baseball game with dipping dots and snow cones. The weather was perfect. Ryan stayed to watch more baseball and the boys and I went to see Kung Fu Panda 2. It was so fun. I can't believe how much the boys loved it and they all stayed in their seats and watched the entire movie. They really liked the popcorn and soda too. After baseball and the movie we went over to Kim & Lawrence's for our annual BBQ. It was lots of fun and of course good food. The boys favorite part were the s'mores. It has been a really fun weekend and we've all had a really good time!

Puddle Fun

Its been raining like crazy here and there just happened to be a little break in the rain and the weather was pretty nice so we headed outside. It just so happened that there was ONE puddle in the driveway. This is what I found.......

Jax's Broken Arm

Jax made it all the way to the second to last day of school with no broken bones. That's pretty good! Yesterday while playing on the monkey bars, he fell and landed on his wrist. We went to the doctor today and sure enough his little arm was broken. He's been quite a trooper. I knew something was wrong when he cried all morning about it and Jax isn't one to cry very often. He has a soft cast on it now and we'll go back in a week when the swelling has gone down to see what happens next. Also, a few pictures of Jax's project board. School's out. Summer!

Mother's Day & Hanging Out

I've been slacking a little with the blog posts since we've been taking all our pictures with Ry's phone. It seems I didn't get any pictures of Jax and the wrestling meet in Craig. Jax did awesome. Ryan, Jax and I stayed in a hotel the night before and it was lots of fun just hanging with our oldest. Jax cam in 4th. He wrestled five matches and he pinned two of them. Wrestling season is over and all in all I think Jax had a good time. I had a fantastic Mother's Day! We picked out flowers and had fun planting them, planted a brand new tree and just had a great day hanging out. Then the boys surprised me with a brand new porch swing. I love it. It going to get many hours of use. The boys and I spent the past weekend in South Jordan for a little hanging out and Bridge's birthday party. It was lots of fun. Jax and Grandpa went on about a hundred bike rides and the longest one Jax did was six miles. Jax is such a good bike rider. East and Huds loved the bike trailer and taking lots of bike rides in there. Bridge's party was lots of fun and a huge success. Heath did amazing. We loved hanging out with all the family on Sunday. We sure do miss those days so it's nice when we get to do that. Life is good!
