Easter Weekend

Jenn and Brandon came to visit for Easter weekend. It was lots of fun. Actually the entire month of April has been way fun with Heath & Blake, Grandma & Grandpa then Jenn & Brandon. We had fun golfing and watching movies. The boys loved the annual Easter egg hunt at the park. It was really fun for the Easter bunny to come to our house and leave Aunt Jenn a basket. We had Easter dinner out at Grandma & Grandpa Torsell's house and the boys loved coloring eggs and riding the Jeep out there. Jax was devastated to find out his favorite chick died. I'm not going to lie. I cried because he cried! And of course a picture of the boys ready for church. So cute!

Easton had his two year check-up today and minus the double ear infection he's doing pretty good.

Meeker Tournament

Today was the wrestling meet in Meeker. It was nice to have Grandpa & Grandma there cheering Jax on. As my career as a sports mom begins I wonder if I'm up for it! The days are long and what parent deep down doesn't want their kid to take first in everything they do. Thus begins my learning to help our kids have fun and do their best in whatever they want to do even if they don't win. Jax took third and had fun.

Easton's #2 Birthday

Easton sure had fun for his birthday minus the cough, fever and ear infection. Ha ha. He loved every single one of his presents so much. Easton did not like the candles. We put a candle in his french toast for breakfast and he started to cry. He tried to be brave at cake time with the help of Grandma and attempted to blow the candles out then. East is such a fun part of our life and always has something cute to say. While we were on an ant hike with Grandpa and Grandma we kept telling him not to touch the cactus. He would reply, "ok, I won't". We love our little Easter!!!

Hayden Tournament

This weekend was Hayden's Wrestling Tournament. We decided to stay in a hotel Friday night with our friends the Lucero's. I'm not sure what the boys liked more. The hotel. Or the wrestling meet. It was a very long day on Saturday. We arrived at the meet at 7:00am. Jaxon's first match was a bye. Not good. Jaxon didn't wrestle until 12:30. He was so tired. His next match wasn't until 2:30. He was even more tired. Jaxon had fun but lets everyone know "I got a medal (participation medal) but I didn't place".

Look what Easton got in the mail today for his birthday from Aunt Cole and family! Easton is walking around the house hugging his little Despicable Me doll and saying "I love him". Its pretty cute. Thanks Biblers!

Rangely Wrestling Meet

Jaxon participated in the Rangely Wrestling Tournament that was held yesterday at the high school. I like to call it "organized chaos". There are about a million little kids wrestling all over the place and its loud and crazy! We were so lucky to have Heath & Blake there with us cheering on Jax. Jaxon did amazing. He was a great sport! Jaxon took 1st place. Before the meet I was giving Jax a little pep talk and he said "Mom, thats not what wrestling is all about. Its about having fun". And Jaxon did have fun! He loves his gold medal panther paw and champion t-shirt. Both things he has worn since yesterday and doesn't look like he's going to be taking them off anytime soon.

We had a great time hanging out with Heath & Blakers for the weekend. We played outside. We went to Giovanis. We went to Jaxon's wrestling meet. We opened birthday presents. We had fun.
